September book haul

Hocus Pocus headband from Fablebands.
Pink Batillac Sunglasses from MissToshCollection.
Sugar, Sugar Tee from Flyrhopa.

Fall is my favorite time of the year. September and October equal two months of Halloween and fall vibes for me.

I got most of these books because the preorder incentives were pretty or the edition of the book was pretty.

Bruja Born, Labyrinth Lost, & Wayward Witch by Zoraida Cordova are part of her Brooklyn Brujas series. I ordered them because the preorder art print was absolutely beautiful, they are all signed and duh, BRUJAS!

The Hunter and the Mage is book 2 of a series by Kaitlyn Davis that I have yet to read but the preorder art prints were too pretty to pass up.

I had already ordered Cemetary Boys by Aiden Thomas from Illumicrate, but after a friend showed me the cover of the Barnes&Noble version, I couldn’t pass on another copy. The preorder is also amazing as well and again Brujería.

Horrid by Katrina Leno is actually part of my book subscription box with Owlcrate.

Vampires Never get Old is an anthology of vampire stories by a diverse group of authors. I ordered it to support several #OwnVoices and the preorder incentive interested me. Three tarot cards based on the characters in the book.

The Year of the Witching by Alexis Henderson I got because the author is BIPOC and the book has BIPOC witches. Definitely interested!

Legendborn by Tracey Deon is a new version of a modern King Arthur retelling with BIPOC characters and written by BIPOC author. The cover is absolutely stunning.

Last, but not least Greythorne by Crystal Smith is book 3 in a series I have yet to read. I honestly bought this because I wanted the cameo that came if you preordered. I have a problem I’m aware. Lol
